We have additionally provided detailed daily tidal information for the specific times when the tide reaches certain heights. The reason for this is that surfing on the Gower is typically determined by the tide state, many breaks and reefs only work at specific tide heights and due to the continual interchange between Spring and Neap tides it can often be difficult for a surfer to determine the best time to be at the break. There is of course sensitivity around providing the exact height at which specific breaks work but we’ll leave that up to the surfer to determine what they think is best. Each day we provide the key tide heights i.e. those being between 7.0 and 9.0 meters in increments of 0.5 metres as well at the high and low tide times. We hope it helps :)
The tidal information shown is for Mumbles in the Gower Peninsula, Wales. Please note that there is an approximate + 20 minute time addition required to the tide times for Llangennith versus those shown for Mumbles.
