Langland is a South Westerly facing sandy and rocky beach and holds some of the pre-eminent breaks in South Wales. Surf breaks highly dependent on tide and intermediate to advanced surfers only. At high tide there is the The Shore Break, until Rotherslade Lefts and The Reef start working as the tide drops. At lower tides, The Reef located in the middle of the bay, the Sandbar and Saga Point are all very busy all the time. Crab Island located towards the left hand side of the Bay is for experienced surfer only. Some rips on the outside peaks.
